Our approach is built on Evidence-Based Validation. We combine engineering rigor (STEM background) with Lean Startup and Design Thinking. We evaluate every innovation through the lens of Desirability, Feasibility, and Viability. Unlike traditional consultancies, we provide an "auditable" framework that delivers objective go/no-go recommendations based on real market data and technical stress-tests.​

In the current "pre-seed crisis," 90-95% of ideas fail due to a lack of rigorous validation. Innovation is no longer a discretionary activity but a strategic survival mechanism. With tightening capital and shifting EU/global cycles (e.g., DefTech, AI), companies and investors need a filter to "kill" non-viable ideas early, protecting both capital and reputation while accelerating high-potential winners.​

Concretely, that tends to look like one of three situations. An OEM has issued a new technology mandate and you need to find and pilot a solution within 12 months, without building an entire internal capability to do it. Or your board has approved an innovation initiative but there's no real process for deciding which projects deserve continued investment. Or a startup has approached you with something interesting, and you want an honest third-party read before you sign anything.​

The organizations we work with most often fall into four groups.​

Before each phase begins, we agree on explicit criteria — what "good enough to continue" actually looks like, and what signals should trigger a pivot or a stop. That's not a formality. It means the recommendation at the end of each gate is based on something auditable, not on gut feel or relationship dynamics.​

In practice, this means we will recommend stopping a project when the evidence points that way. We did it consistently throughout our work inside a large industrial organisation — and the track record is straightforward: every project we recommended stopping was stopped, and every project we recommended continuing reached pilot stage.​
​
This is the part that most internal teams find genuinely difficult. When a project has been running for months and real budget has been spent, stopping feels like failure. The sunk cost feels very real; the opportunity cost of continuing doesn't. An external team with clear criteria and no stake in the outcome is just structurally better positioned to make that call honestly.​

A kill recommendation isn't failure. It's often the most capital-efficient result a validation process can produce.​

There are three areas where we spend most of our time.​

The first is venture clienting and startup scouting. When a company has a specific technology challenge and suspects a startup somewhere has already solved it, we find that startup, structure a pilot, and manage the whole process — from first contact through to an actual operational decision. For SMEs and mid-sized industrial companies, we also run something we call the Venture Clienting Squad: a shared program where a group of non-competing companies pool their scouting and piloting needs together. The logic is simple. It spreads the cost, and it actually makes the program more attractive to startups — because instead of one potential pilot partner, they're talking to five.​

The second area is innovation validation. When a company is seriously considering a new technology, a new business line, or a new market, we run a structured program to find out whether the opportunity is real before significant resources get committed. The output isn't a report. It's a decision — go, pivot, or stop — with the evidence to back it up.​
​
Third is corporate innovation advisory. Some organizations are building or rebuilding their internal innovation programs and need help with the parts that are hardest to get right: how to structure decision gates, what kill criteria should look like, and how to assess whether an opportunity actually fits the organization — not just the market.​

Three things, and they're all fairly concrete.​

We deliver decisions, not frameworks. A lot of consultancies will hand you a methodology, run a few workshops, and move on. We stay in the process and produce something tangible at every stage — a go/no-go recommendation, a validated pilot design, a kill memo. The methodology is the least interesting part of what we do.​

We've actually operated from the inside. Before starting Neuvosight, our team built and ran the internal startup accelerator programme of a large industrial company. Not advised on it — built it, ran it, and delivered results inside a real corporate environment, with real budget constraints, real internal politics, and real accountability. That's a different kind of experience, and it's not something a traditional consultancy typically has.​

And maybe most importantly: we understand why innovation projects actually die. The common explanation is market failure — the idea just wasn't good enough. But in our experience, organizational misfit kills more projects than bad ideas do. A strong opportunity can be completely invisible inside a company that expects returns far beyond what early-stage realities allow, or that has no way to open a new sales channel. Spotting that mismatch early — before serious money and credibility have been committed — is genuinely half the work. In-house teams rarely have the external vantage point to see it clearly.​

On the industry side, our deepest experience is at the intersection of industrial manufacturing, electronics, and automotive supply chain — which is where our team built its track record before starting Neuvosight. Beyond that, we work across B2B deep-tech more broadly, wherever the core challenge is the same: evaluating a technology opportunity under real uncertainty, with limited internal capacity to run a structured process.​

Geographically, we're focused on Europe. The DACH region — Germany, Austria, Switzerland — is where we're most active, alongside Spain, Italy, and selected Central European markets, particularly Poland and the Czech Republic. We work in English and German across all of these. Most engagements combine remote work with on-site sessions, so geography is rarely a hard blocker.​

In terms of company size, we tend to work best with organizations in the €20M–€500M revenue range. Large enough to have a real innovation mandate and budget behind it. Focused enough that what we do actually moves the needle.​

Carefully, and with a clear default: everything stays yours.​

Before any information changes hands, we sign NDAs and confidentiality agreements. That's not a formality — it's the starting point. We don't reuse, share, or repurpose anything client-specific across projects. The outputs we create together — validation reports, decision memos, pilot designs — are exclusively owned by you, unless you explicitly agree otherwise.​
​
We also try not to ask for more than we actually need. In practice, that means requesting only the information that's directly relevant to the decision at hand, handling it in controlled-access environments, and never passing it to third parties without your consent. It's a straightforward principle, but it's worth saying out loud.​
​
Where we use AI tools in our work, the same logic applies. No client data goes into model training. No information leaks into shared or public datasets. We keep a clear separation between what's yours and what's part of our reusable process framework. This is increasingly something clients ask about explicitly — and it should be.​

Our practices align with EU data protection requirements and the ISO 56000 series on innovation management. If you have specific compliance requirements or internal data governance constraints, we're used to working within those — it comes up regularly in the sectors we serve.​
